What is FellCore?

The seat cushion plays a huge part in how a sofa feels, both when it is brand new and after years of everyday use.

FellCore is our name for the resilient foam seat cushioning used across selected Lake District Sofas collections.

Foam provides structure, support and recovery. It helps the seat hold its shape while giving you a reassuringly comfortable place to sit.

The exact feel varies from collection to collection, but the principle remains the same: dependable support beneath you, designed for real everyday living.

Because a good sofa should not only feel comfortable when you first sit down.

What is FellCloud?

A great back cushion should do more than simply feel soft.

FellCloud is our name for the fibre-filled back cushioning used across selected Lake District Sofas collections.

Fibre allows us to create different levels of comfort depending on the design of the sofa.

Some FellCloud backs are softer and more relaxed, giving you that cosy, sink-in feeling.

Others are fuller and firmer, designed to provide greater support through the back and shoulders.

That means FellCloud is not one particular level of softness.

It is about using fibre to create the right kind of back comfort for each collection.
